A GIRL STUDENT'S WORKING/SLEEPING ROOM PROJECT - START

I must say I feel really honored to have my first professional order while I'm still learning to be an interior designer. I've decided to record and note every step of this very first real-life project of mine, so anyone can follow the progression. 

A client is my old friend, a girl who currently studies nutrition sciences and loves anything associated with the sea - she seasonally works as a lifeguard and practices scuba diving. Additionally her life companion is a yorkshire terrier, which spends a lot of time in the room. 

I start with the inspiration board that helps to grab all the abstract ideas together and catch the consistent theme of the space. I've already determined that I want to base my project on a sea life, coral reefs, organic structures connected with a sea flora and fauna, staring from a deep, ending with a shore, or oscillate between two of them.
